Who We Are
Mission
Cornerstone Women’s Resource Centers offers compassionate services providing a path to life for an unplanned pregnancy through hope and healing in Jesus Christ.

Leadership
We are led by a volunteer Board of Directors. An Executive Director manages the day-to-day operations of all our locations and thirteen additional staff. The staff oversees client services, volunteers, training, scheduling, events, fundraising, PR, and financial operations.
History
Located in Salem and Cumberland Counties, we have been serving Salem County since its inception in 1983 and Cumberland County since 1989. This was in response to the growing need for education and support for teenagers, young adults, and their families during an unplanned pregnancy. We became a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status in 1987.
Our Team’s Heart
We believe in treating every person with dignity and respect as created in the image of God. Our staff and volunteers create a calm, confidential environment where clients are heard, cared for, and supported — whatever their circumstances.
Caring for the Whole Family
Through our programs, women and families receive free, confidential support that meets spiritual, emotional, educational, and material needs.
We Minister to Women
We minister to women with an unplanned pregnancy by providing them with free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds.
We provide factual information about their pregnancy in a compassionate and caring environment.
Resources for medical, social and community services are available as well as adoption referrals.
We Provide Parenting Classes
We provide parenting classes and resources through our Earn as You Learn Program. Parents can come to classes from pregnancy until their child is two years old to learn valuable life skills as well as attend Bible studies and forge supportive relationships with our wonderful Client Advocates.
While in the program, parents earn points to use in our Baby Boutique where they can redeem them for clothing, diapers, food and baby equipment.
We Facilitate Healing
We provide pregnancy loss recovery for any woman who has experienced loss through miscarriage or abortion. We also run a Healing Group for women with past trauma of any nature.
We Reach Youth
We reach youth about healthy relationships through out GET REAL Program.

Stories of Hope
“Lauren’s” story
When “Lauren” came to our mobile unit expressing that she wanted an abortion, we discussed her reasons and proceeded with an ultrasound. It was discovered that she was 9 weeks pregnant, and when she saw the baby’s heartbeat, she started to cry. Then she saw another beating heart… she was carrying twins! Shortly after, she changed her mind and chose life for her babies. “Lauren” then came to our center two weeks later to join our Earn As You Learn pregnancy and parenting program. While she was there, she showed us the babies’ announcement she had already created to send out because now she was excited about having her babies!
“Yvette’s” story
Examining the circumstances surrounding a woman’s desire to get an abortion, often we see dark factors such as domestic abuse, addictions, or homelessness, to name a few. This reality just motivates Cornerstone to shine the light of Jesus with its life-changing power! “Yvette” was very afraid to tell her boyfriend, “Jose,”, about her unplanned pregnancy. Her fear steered her towards the abortion pill, but after two ultrasound appointments, fervent prayer, and finally sharing the news with Jose, they bravely chose life for their baby!

Stories of Hope
“Brittany’s” story
We need the Hope of Jesus Christ! When “Brittany” and her boyfriend found us online and showed up for their appointment, she thought she was 5-6 weeks along and wanted the abortion pill. As “Brittany” received her ultrasound, she was shocked to discover she was actually carrying a 19-week-old baby. After she processed this unexpected news, she called back a week later to let us know that they were going to parent their baby! In the midst of their difficult circumstances, they found Hope that changed everything, praise God!
“Lucy’s” story
While pro-life and pro-abortion laws are changing, the needs of women with unplanned pregnancies continue to grow. When “Lucy” found us online, she came to her ultrasound appointment telling us she was having an abortion. She had no idea how far along she was until she saw her 15-week old baby on the monitor. She broke down in tears. In an instant, “Lucy” changed her mind and said, “There’s no way I can go through with an abortion!” YOU are a big part of helping “Lucy” and many more to not only choose life, but to THRIVE!

“Tasha’s” story
“You showed me more love than my own family,” were the words of “Tasha.” She came in, telling us she was already scheduled for an abortion later that week. But she had the chance to see her pre-born baby through ultrasound and ultimately chose life even after still visiting the abortion clinic. “Tasha” left the clinic that day when she realized they didn’t care about her, but Cornerstone did. The love of Christ has a far-reaching impact and is still transforming hearts who are, in response, turning away from abortion!
“Tamara’s” story
“Tamara”, who already had several children, was feeling overwhelmed after discovering that she was pregnant again. Consequently, she felt hopeless and was seeking the abortion pill. But after seeing her pre-born baby’s heartbeat during her ultrasound appointment, God brought hope to “Tamara’s” heart and, after more deliberation, she eventually chose life for this new baby! We are so thankful for all our financial supporters who met her need!
